Birth story

So I was 37 weeks , I had to get induced because my baby wasn’t growing anymore. So I went in at 9 pm on a Saturday and I got a Covid test for I could have my mom and boyfriend in the room. After that I got the medicine that helps labor start . Contractions were very light I still wasn’t in labor though. Come next day I feel contractions more but I wasn’t even dilated I was so angry lol , I don’t know if I’m just a crybaby but I really couldn’t take the contractions anymore but I couldn’t get the epidural yet because I wasn’t dilated enough. Fast forward 5 hours later they put a balloon in to help me dilate more (worst pain ever ) . Fast forward another 5 hour they came to check me I was only 2 cm dilated!!! It was around 5pm I also ended up getting the epidural since I was only 2 cm they asked me if I wanted them to break my water , but they said it could affect baby’s heart rate so I said no . So time goes by it’s 10 pm by now they come check me I’m only 5 cm so I let them break my water . I say around 11my epidural starts wearing off !!! When I say it was a pain would never want to experience again I mean never! So I told the doctors to give me more and after that I couldn’t feel anyyyything I was completely num . I ended up going to sleep it’s Sunday 12 am I say about 2 hours later my doctors come in saying they don’t see her heart beat mind you I’m half see so I’m like what’s going on , so they open my legs to check for baby and the nurse yells oh my gosh there’s a head! Next thing you know she just popped out born October 19th 2020 at 2:51 4 pounds and 7 oz

I didn’t have to push or anything lol besides the contractions I would say I had a pretty nice labor
