Like Brittany said, they’re used for different things and one can’t replace the other. The newborn lounger is great for sitting baby down (while you can see them, always on a safe surface) if you need to do something. The actual boppy pillow is good for breast feeding support, tummy time, and when baby is learning to sit!

I have the newborn one and it’s good if your Abby actually lets you put them down. I mostly used it to sit on cause it took all the pressure off my vagina when my stitches were really sore lol. I’d recommend it for that alone.

They are both different. I have them both because A is the newborn boppy. Eventually they can move into the B one! 
But so far I love the newborn boppy. We use it every day. I imagine we will use the other one as well!
