I’m 15 weeks pregnant.

Was diagnosed with what my ob originally thought was a subchorionic hemorrhage based on symptoms. Went into the ER last Tuesday with bright red blood. Was soaking a pad/hr, and passed a key lime sized blood clot. Had a follow up ultrasound Monday, and my OB called with results today.

They’re seeing something that appears like a 13x1x10 cm posterior subchorionic hemorrhage, but they are also questioning whether it could be a chorioamniotic separation that extends the entire length of the posterior uterine wall.

Hoping for the first rather than the latter. Based on what I’ve read the latter is associated with poorer fetal outcomes.

I have an appointment with a high risk OB tomorrow, so hoping for news that might give me hope, but also preparing for difficult news.

Just hoping to hear experiences with either situation, especially experiences with large SCHs and favorable outcomes!
