Planning for the first baby..

How long does it typically take after comming off the pill (was on it for about 4 years) before success in becoming pregnant. We’ve havnt been using protection kinda with the (if it happens it happens) approach for about a year and nothing (which shocked me knowing a lot of people effortlessly seem to be able to). I even tried strips to see if I’m ovulating when the app predicts. I’m not too good with this but it’s a more serious topic now at this point and would really like to start trying.
