We just started today with full bottles of cows milk but since my son was about 8 months we’d give him small amounts of food with dairy in it and yogurt as well. Every single day that he does have it he’ll wake up in the middle of the night screaming bloody murder with a rock hard stomach but he doesn’t get constipated unless he has tomato sauce in which he does the same at night. But I mentioned it to his pediatrician yesterday and she said that it was in fact constipation and that I need to just fully give him supply cups of cows milk. I’m just concerned about it being a lactose intolerance issue because the whole time I was pregnant with him I couldn’t do any dairy and while I was breastfeeding as well. I also question her sometimes because she dismissed when I asked for acid reflux medicine at 3 months and another doctor had to prescribe it for me since it was really bad reflux.
