Contractions felt in my back?

Is it possible to feel contractions in your back? I’ll be 34 weeks tomorrow and have been feeling these horrible cramp like feelings that come and go frequently. I also feel them slightly in my lower abdomen. Could these be contractions or just Braxton Hicks??

Yes it is possible my doctor called it back labor. It basically when labor starts in your back. I’ve had it with all my kids. Try walking and drinking cups of water if it goes away then it means your dehydrated that can also cause contractions and back labor

I only get back labor with all 3 labors so far all pain in my back and legs never felt a thing in my belly

Oh yes, that’s back labor. I had it BAD with my first, I literally only felt pain in my back 😆 it felt like my back was being broken over and over again when I went into active labor.

Yes. I had extremely intense back contractions when I was in labor.

I think is Braxton Hicks, because 34 weeks is too early. Some doctors say 37 is full term

If they are infrequent and go away after drinking water or resting for a little bit then they are Braxton Hicks.
