Drowsy but awake?
We still bounce our baby girl to sleep for every nap and bedtime. She’s a horrible napper, but will sleep 10-11 hours overnight and will fall back to sleep when she wakes up. But bouncing a growing baby isn’t sustainable.
We have a week off work coming so we’re going to work on her falling asleep on her own. Any tips?
My current plan is to get her drowsy (eyes starting to close) and put her down. She’s going to cry immediately... so I’m going to shush and give her a pacifier. But then what? Bounce until drowsy again and repeat?
Or should we jump to the Ferber method? (I need to look that up)
