I see so many women using every available theory to find out gender ASAP. We’re waiting until delivery to find out! Anyone else?

I understand the curiosity, I’d probably wanna know to but as a person who just had a gender identity reckoning, I now realize that being excited about the baby’s gender is kinda pointless. I mean first off you’ll love it either way. And second, your kid might have a second gender reveal later. I thought I was a cisgender female- nope. 16 years later I’m a demigender she/they/them.

My parents waited for it to be a surprise for my sisters and I. I know gender reveals weren’t really a thing until recently, but even then I don’t think they would have because they would have been happy either way 😊

We waited with my first and are waiting again. My husband wasn’t completely on board at first but he enjoyed it. He was right about our son being a boy and is convinced this one is another boy. I’m hoping for a girl again so one of us will be right 😂 I personally love not knowing, I think it takes the pressure off of having all the gender specific items and such. Go for not knowing, I think it’s so worth it! ❤️

We found out with our first and waited with our second. In the end I hated the experience I had with waiting, I won’t do it again.

We found out for my first, but waited for my second. It was so much more exciting finding out at the birth. My SO, who tried to convince me to find out the whole pregnancy, said it was the best moment of his life and he’s so glad we waited.

We waited for our first.and it was the best! but might find out for our second (if & when) might try a gender reveal  since our shower was canceled due to Covid
