How do you know if you’ve had a chemical pregnancy?

I swore I was getting faint lines all week from 7dpo and AF showed up yesterday, absolutely heartbroken. But it’s a lot more painful/crampy than usual and extremeeely heavy. Is there any way of knowing for sure there’s been a chemical pregnancy?

I had a positive pregnancy test. I had a lot of bleeding. My doctor confirmed with blood work. It took over a week for my pregnancy tests to go back to negative.

No way to confirm other than blood tests. I've had a boatload of them.  I was not cramping at all, but I started bleeding and I knew. I bled for 8 days before it stopped and my HCG levels returned to 0.
