When did you post on social media you were expecting?

I was personally super ballsy with my first baby and posted at 6 weeks that we were expecting. I was excited 😁 it was the first baby on both sides of the family!  
My friend however just lost her baby at 17 weeks and now I'm nervous to post again so early. 
How do you/ did you decide ?

I posted about my first at 11 weeks and some days. I lost her at 17 weeks 1 day. I posted about the second baby at 7 weeks.

I’m currently 18 weeks & don’t know the gender yet. I was waiting until I knew the gender but now I think I might wait until I’m atleast 24 weeks

Like 4-6 weeks with all 5 including miscarriages 🤷🏻‍♀️

It all depends how you feel. You should post when you and your partner feel comfortable. It doesn’t effect the outcome of the pregnancy. 
Personally, I’d wait because I had a miscarriage and it completely broke my heart. Only my immediate family & immediate in laws knew. It was still hard for me because there’s questions & then well intentioned comments that don’t help. However, they all cared for me and tried their best to help. Thankfully. 
I don’t think other people’s experiences should dictate your life. The reality is every stage of pregnancy is precious and anything can happen at any time. I’ve read so many women accounts of loss— some before 20 weeks, some after, stillborn births, etc etc.
It’s VERY scary but make a decision you’re comfortable with and be happy. Don’t stress yourself.

23 weeks. When the baby is viable

We waited til 19 weeks this time because of a sch and massive bleed at twelve weeks and things were touch and go. I finally stopped bleeding at seventeen weeks, knew gender and picked a name, and got good genetic results back. Things are never guaranteed but at that point being my third I was definitely starting to show and had only been able to hide it since covid I was basically only at home. We decided no matter what the outcome may be it was time to celebrate it and try to enjoy the rest of the pregnancy instead of staying fearful.

With our first we posted as soon as we found out so like 4/5 weeks, but that pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. Our second was about the same timing but successful pregnancy. Currently on our third(due next month) and we waited to announce till the second trimester(my family and husbands family knew early though). I was worried about something happening of course but I knew we were gonna get judged for being pregnant again so I wanted to wait awhile

I posted at 9w with my first. I had already had 2 ultrasounds to confirm that everything was on track tho. 
I'm 12w with my second and feel no rush to announce this pregnancy. Family and close friends know and that's all that matters to me. I think I'm too scared of jinxing things this time around.

I didn't really use social media when I was pregnant with my first so I never announced. This second time round I would have announced around 8 weeks but I don't want my crazy in-laws to know until after first tri so I'm waiting.
