Older sister, younger brother?

Does anyone have this dynamic in their families? It’s not what I pictured. I want them to love each other and be best friends. Is this even possible? 😭

I was an older sister with a younger brother and I love him so much! He is my best friend and was growing up. We also fought but we were always there for each other. I now have the same dynamic with my babies—older girl, younger boy.

My son have two older sister who are 10 and 13. They all get along great most the time and are pretty pleasant to deal with. The two older girls seem to enjoy their baby brother. He’s almost 2. 
My girls occasionally fight like cats and dogs lol

In my family our pattern is girl, boy. No scientific reason that’s just how it worked out. The girls are older in my family. And I can promise you, we love our baby brothers. We fight for them, we fight with them. 
My daughter was born 2017 and my son came Jan 2019. She loves her brother and is quick to help and protect him. I mean, they’re siblings so she also wants to beat him up. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am 1 of 6- aged 26-4yrs... it goes 26G, 25G(me), 19B, 15B, 6B, 4B
I am very very close to my 19yr old brother and reasonably close to my 15yr old bro more so then my older sister :) 
I’m currently pregnant with a boy and have a 22m old girl I’m hoping they are close as well
