How long do you bleed after birth?

I know everyone is different, but typically how long do you bleed afterwards. I'm 5 days since I had my daughter, Also I'm breastfeeding I don't know if that makes a difference

4 and a half weeks! It can come and go in my experience. Certainly frustrating when we are dealing with a little one!

Mine lasted around 4 weeks, not breastfeeding. I think it doesn't last as long if you're breastfeeding because that causes your uterus to contract which helps expel the blood faster 😷

With my first I stopped around 6 weeks and with my second it was a little less than 4.

I'm two weeks postpartum and I'm still bleeding. It's slowed down to be more period like but I'm hoping it stops soon....pads are so gross =/

I needed a pad for about 4 or 5 weeks then spotting that has tapered off. I'm 9 weeks pp and still have some brown spotting once or twice a week. I'm breastfeeding as well

Mine was like a heavy period for two days after I had her, then slowed down to almost nothing. I had her 11/3 and I'm still spotting, but really only when I first wake up. I am also breast feeding.
