Fertility what...

I just went to the doctors to get my hcg levels checked because AF has not shown in 74 days. I asked if she could do an ultrasound so we wouldn't have to wait. She said she doesn't have the machine at that particular office.

I waited 1 1\2 hours to get my blood drawn. I then asked if it was negative then what... Without hesitation she gave me a fertility doctors number. I think this is a little weird. Not sure how I feel about this without an ultrasound to check all avenues.

I would like a baby but to go straight to a fertility doctor seems like somebody wants to line their pockets. We have been trying for less than a year.

Any suggestions of what to say or respond with if this blood test is negative?
