Is it still safe to excerise while pregnant ? If so what are some good excerise

Just found out I'm pregnant and wZnt to make sure excerise is ok to do when pregnant .

Moderate excercise is safe and recommended. Just don't take on any new intense workouts.

It is allowed but talk to your ob before doing anything, mine told me 15mins of aerobic workouts then rest for 15 then another 15!

If you exercised before getting pregnant, you can continue your normal routine but probably cut down on Ab exercises... I run and do T25 workouts(no more Ab DVD).. Since I found out I was pregnant, I still do the same workouts just not as high of intensity and sometimes use the modifier. I wear my HRM every workout and try not to let it go over 160.  I've known women who have run half marathons at 12-14 weeks but they were already at that fitness level prior to pregnancy.  Check with your doctor if you did not exercise before pregnancy to see what is safe transition into. On a walk I used to do, I sat down to take a rest, there was a lady who looked around 8months doing the same course. (It was considered the hardest cause there was no steps) doing it with no problems. She looked relaxed. I think if you talk to your doctor or someone then they could help you

If you have always exercised then it's safe to continue, Just avoid anything too intense.  If you don't regularly workout then it's best to start with something mild instead of jumping in. I really like PiYo and will continue doing it throughout pregnancy for sure. Listen to your body and don't push yourself.
