Flying while pregnant okay?? Safe?

New mom here & I’m only 5 weeks but was considering to fly when I’m about 12-14 weeks. 
Is it safer to fly in first trimester rather than later on?? Any opinions ! TIA ladies 🙌🏼

Early 2nd trimester is best for travel because you start to feel good again energy and sickness wise & your belly isnt in the way. 
Otherwise yes its safe, just take extra precautions related to covid

You should be able to travel anytime besides the last few weeks of pregnancy just in case you go into labor. I traveled at 32 weeks which was a struggle cause I was huge. Compression socks for swelling help if you are late on in pregnancy and get up and walk a few times if possible. They don’t like you to do the whole body scanners but unless your really showing tsa will do a body pat down if you say your pregnant and can’t go through it. I was sooo embarrassed and felt harassed when I did that 3 years ago. I had to wait forever for a female tsa agent to do it. Looking back it was whatever. But at the time it was really awkward. Once I was showing at 32 weeks it’s as an immediate, oh go through this scanner not that one. If you say you can’t go through the body one due to being pregnant that’s when they pay you down. If they suggest it, then they don’t. Enjoy your trip!
