Type two diabetic and pregnant

Hi guys! I am 5 weeks 6 days pregnant. I’m a diabetic (type 2) I am well controlled but still have fears as this is my first pregnancy. Thankfully I’m a OB nurse and was able to get my ultrasound done at work. I don’t have my “official” appointment until January 15th. I will be around 9 weeks by then. Any tips or advice anyone has?
