What is ttc?

Sorry if this sounds silly but I've only just joined, what does ttc mean?

If you look at the tabs at the top there is a post floating around with all the acronyms in it. I spent a good long time reading them all myself as some I'd never heard of before!

Ttc= trying to conceive 
AF= aunt flow (period)
BFN= big fat negative
BFP= big fat positive
That is all I've figured out so far....there are others on here hat I haven't yet deciphered lol
