Second Beta + Ultrasound ?s

I got my second beta back today... 3200. It exactly doubled from my read of 1600 on Monday, which is fantastic. But now they don't want to see me until I'm 8 weeks on Dec 15th. I always thought RE's did scans at like 6 weeks for multiples etc? Maybe I'm just being crazy because I want to see the baby/babies. What is your experience?

My first RE did an u/s at 6 weeks. My new RE did the u/s at 7 weeks. He said that he does it later so that if there are more than one sac then we will know for sure at the 7 week u/s if there is a heartbeat. Basically so people don't get their hopes up for more than one baby early on then at a later u/s discover there is no heartbeat. It sucked waiting that extra week!

My first was after my two week wait. Then another two weeks later. Then every two weeks to 12 weeks. I was high risk with twins though. Second go around it was same thing
