When did you spill the beans?

I spend a lot of time at my dads and I want to tell just my step mom since I hang out with her more than my dad while he’s at work. If I were to get sick over there, she would know and the surprise would be ruined! My hubby doesn’t think I should tell her since I’m only 4 weeks and would be close to 5 when I would tell her. How long did you/will you wait to tell close family that you spend a lot of time with?

We tell everyone right away. We see no reason to wait even with 3 miscarriages I had

My family is finding out on Christmas. I’ll be 18 weeks. Only my husband and doctor know I’m pregnant.

Told close family at 12 weeks and just told the rest of em on Facebook at 26 weeks.

We told everyone at 3-5 weeks in our 1st pregnancy than lost the baby... so this pregnancy we were very guarded from the start. We told both sets of parents at 8 weeks (I hated lying to them) & broke the rest of our families with the happy news at my birthday at 12 weeks 😁

We personally have always told my parents around 6-7 weeks. We waited until around 8-10 weeks to tell everyone else.

We were planning on waiting awhile yet,  I am just 7 weeks but my husband's grandma was just diagnosed with cancer so we may be telling sooner rather than later.

Whenever you want is a good time, we told right away because I don’t like to go through things silently (if god forbid something had happened).

Those closet to me/us find out right away. It’s important to me to have a select support network should something go wrong with the pregnancy. Those not in our intimate circle find out somewhere past 10 weeks.
