Neck kisses?

So my boyfriend and I are pretty casual about talking about stuff and we were talking about neck/jaw kisses and I personally love it but he says he doesn't at all and it tickles. I was confused but a while later we were talking about it and he said he didn't really hate it it just tickled a bit, and I do it sometimes just a peck here and there and he seems to enjoy it, should I ask him about it again? or just go with it and see what he likes
