Dark Brown discharge

I've been on birth control for about a year and a half now. Combination pill. I've never had an issue with spotting before my "period" (withdrawal bleeding). Now I have two days left of active pills and dark brown discharge/spotting. It's not enough to fill a pad, but it is a decent amount. I also see it when I wipe but it is lighter with hints of dark red. This has been happening since today. There has been a little bit of a smell too but not too too bad. No cramps or other symptoms. I mean I guess I have tender breasts but its not bad. I've been taking my birth control at the same time every morning. I would also like to add I haven't had sex for at least 2 weeks.
