Am I the only one?

Am I the only one wanting baby to stay in there until 40 weeks?! I feel like all I am seeing is posts about how to get baby out early. Aside from complications, why??? I want baby to be as full term as possible with how messed up this world is right now.

Some people are struggling in pain everyday. Barely able to sleep and their bodies and minds are just exhausted at this point. Most babies born 37 weeks and on come out 100% healthy and some come at 40-42 weeks needing NICU time.

Some people have scheduled inductions and would rather get labor going naturally than have to use medication to induce 🤷🏻‍♀️

Maybe some people have medical issues and it’s safer to have the baby come out earlier. Also, an overdue baby can be just as bad as an preterm baby. We don’t know what people are going through. Pregnancy may be hell for some people more than others and they may also possibly be venting. I know I say things like I wish this baby would come out now, but I don’t mean it.

I want my baby out at 37 weeks! I'm so over this. I'll have 3 under 3. My body hurts, I cant chase my babies around barely. Baby is term at 37 weeks so yes that's why. Dont judge what you dont know.

I had my first at 41 w 3 d. I am hoping to get to my due date with this baby to have more people vaccinated for covid and mostly through flu season when she starts daycare in March.

No definitely not! However you don't want to go for too much after 40weeks. Most doctors won't let you get past 41 because of complications. So I'd say baby coming anywhere from 37-41 weeks is normal. My friend has her babies at 37 weeks all three times and naturally.

Same I want my baby to stay in longer im currently 34 weeks going on 35 in a couple days it’s no rush even tho I’m tired of being pregnant I want my baby lungs to be mature enough so he can come home with me .. I really haven’t had any complications thank god or pain when it hit me I know it’s gonna be all worth it when I get to hold him

I want my son to stay in as long as possible but I wouldn’t mind if he made his grand entrance early because I’m at the point to where i can barely walk. The pain and etc is a struggle. I’m tired of it honestly but I want him to be ready.

I think everyone wants to carry their baby to full term but life never works out as planned ... I was 33 weeks and I went into labor . Everyday I think about what it would be like to still have her in my stomach right now and to be able to give birth to to her full term (she’s 38 weeks in the NICU right now ) but she had other plans for me .
