Am I wrong?

Question

I’m married. We have a 3 year old and now I’m 8 months pregnant with our second. My husband went to his friends birthday party that’s an hour an half away. It was just guys so I didn’t go. I’m not worried about women being there, I’m more worried about his interest in me. 
He left there at 9 am because they we’re going to fix some stuff prior to the party. 
He didn’t text me or call until 7PM. He sent me a lame text asking why I haven’t texted him. Mind you he insulted me before he left in the morning so we weren’t really on a good foot. And then again he texted at 12AM. 
He stayed the night at his friends house (again I’m sure of that). I didn’t hear anything until 12PM the next day so I called him, he said he slept in til late. 
I could’ve fallen dead and he wouldn’t know because he didn’t bother texting or calling. am I wrong to be upset

If you wanted to talk to him why didn’t you text him? He was out for a birthday party. Sure he could’ve been better about checking in but if you just wanted to chit chat you should’ve said that.

Idk why he went to a party 1.5 hours away while you’re 8 months pregnant with a 3 yr old to begin with. That was his first mistake. Then he doesn’t even text to check in on his 3 yr old? It doesn’t matter who is fighting with who. He never checked in with you about his child. No you’re not wrong. He’s wrong.

I mean what if he got drunk? It was a birthday party. I think your being a bit immature. You could’ve reached out but you didn’t because you felt some type of way about him snapping at you. You clearly wanted to talk to him but didn’t want to reach out first. That’s immature seriously.

After reading almost all these comments I think a lot of you are wrong. I mean how often does he go out?? If this was a consistent thing of him doing these things and not talking to you for a while sure that’s fair but was this a one time thing or maybe he doesn’t go out often? If anything were to happen you should text him instead of him constantly checking in on you. As for the fight in the morning I don’t know. He could always be like that or just having a bad morning. He did get unnecessarily upset about you bringing up the chocolates but who knows how he was feeling then. I would understand being annoyed and a little upset but this doesn’t automatically make you a terrible man like some of the women are implying. I’m not the type of people to really text on check in and maybe he isn’t either. He can’t be by your side always checking in. Also you both just have bad communication. You both are being kinda ridiculous, and though you might be upset this isn’t something to start an argument about. It’s small and petty to do so. Maybe tell him you would feel more comfortable with him texting you every now and then to make sure you both are ok or something. Again if this is a one time thing then yes it’s stupid to be actually mad about. Talk to him about how it made you feel, not in a confrontation way but calm and honest. This shouldn’t be an argument but you two saying how you both feel about what happened.

For me and my relationship I wouldn’t be concerned about any of this. You knew where he was, he was busy getting things set up, he was drunk and stayed up late and slept in and off his hangover the next morning. The only thing that changes anything is the fact that you’re pregnant and had you gone into labor he potential he would have missed because he was away and under the influence I assume.

No your not wrong, but I wouldn’t have gone all day without texting him. Even if we were on bad terms. Communication is the key. But I definitely would be upset that he didn’t bother to contact me either.
