POTTY TRAINING *repeat post*

When potty training and your LO has accidents what do you do/say? I’ve heard not to say “it’s okay” because then they’ll think if’s okay to just pee on the floor. I also know punishing isn’t right either.

So do I just pick her up and say “no pee goes in the potty” then put her on the potty? I have a timer set but she ALWAYS goes in between the timer (every 5min). I don’t force her to stay on longer than she wants. I don’t want to make it an unpleasant experience for her. She’ll sit for about a minute before wanting up. Most times she’ll even grunt a few times. She has peed in the potty twice within the first two hours of starting. The rest of the time it’s been on the floor.

Should I change the timer? Maybe every 10-15 minutes?
