Lighthearted Slightly Nerdy Debate
I have seen people compare Betsy DeVos to Dolores Umbridge from the Harry Potter Universe. But I think of her more like Kia Winn from the Star Trek Universe. Like Kia Winn, DeVos wants to dismantle the public or secular school and fund religious schools with public money.
Recently a friend of mine has thrown in a whole new comparison, she thinks DeVos is more like Ron Swanson from Parks and Rec. He doesn't like government because he thinks it is ineffective so he got a job in government and purposefully doesn't do the job.
