Haven’t they said pregnant or breast feeding mums shouldn’t? Or at least that’s what I’ve read over in the uk as they don’t know enough about side effects etc

Reading about this the other day (in the UK btw).  Two different pieces of advice on this depending which side of the pond you’re on.
The UK government have said it is not approved for use in pregnant or lactating females, or those planning to get pregnant in the next 3 months.  Therefore they will not be offering to UK pregnant women at this stage until further trials are done.
In the US the advice is the decision is with the pregnant woman.  There is no greater or lesser research done here than in the UK on the effects on mum and baby, only the decision is being placed with the individual whereas in the UK the decision has been taken by the government/NHS.

I would if it was recommended. It probably won't be offered until I'm no longer pregnant anyway, since I'm not in any sort of priority group.
