Frustrated with OB office: UPDATE

My last pregnancy I lived in another state and had the best OB and communication. They had the "MyChart" system, were great about phone calls and they even EMAILED, and it was often the doctor himself emailing me. My questions were answered quickly and if I needed a quick pee test for BV or something, I could go right in. The office was bright and comfy.

Now we have moved, the office is dark and not really welcoming. The staff isn't as personable. There is NO email, no online anything. I have to call and sit on hold for questions. Then I don't get transferred to a nurse, I have to wait for a call back from a private number so if I miss it, I have to do the damn process all over again. And honestly with a one year old, I miss calls. I just need to schedule a time to do a BV pee test and I just sat on hold for 15 minutes, I gave up. The experience isn't as easy or welcoming as last time. But here's the thing, I really like my OB. She's patient and friendly, but everything else sucks. Should I look into switching to a different OB? If I have a 6500 deductible, I want to make sure I can get in contact with a nurse etc. If we have to spend so much on insurance, then I think we should be able to have the resources we need.

Found a new OB! They will see me a week earlier and when I went to their webpage it said "Patient Portal" so I was hooked haha!

Also, they deliver at the hospital right near me (the other OB does not) so it was like it was meant to be! The only downside is I cannot have hubby at my anatomy scan 😞 but that's okay.
