OZ of formula?

Hello mommies :) Question my little guy is 2months will be turning 3 months on the 19th. He’s formula fed and is currently drinking 4oz. Yesterday evening and this morning he was crying and seemed like he wanted more so I gave him another 2oz. Total of 6oz formula! Is this normal, how much does your baby eat? My boy is almost 11lbs. Thank you

Totally normal. Feed your baby however much they want. They know when they are re hungry and they know when they are full.

He could be going through a growth spurt, 6 oz is a little much IMO because my baby was born 11 lbs and was only drinking 4-5 oz at 3 months. I would try increasing it by .5 oz and see if does the trick. But yes definitely feed your baby if they’re hungry!! I was just told by my doctor to increase it by .5 oz but there were plenty of times I fed my baby and they screamed for more and I gave 2 more oz. I swear I did everything trial and error 🤣
