Cramps

I'm 6weeks on, and my cramps are so sore :-( they are coming about twice a day, when they come on I feel like I  need to be sick and I'm doubled over with them. I've had no bleeding or spotting and the pain is all over my stomach. The cramps last about 10mins and once they are over I feel totally fine. I phoned my midwife today who said everything sounds okay and not to worry but surely they can't be this sore? I'm desperate to talk to my hubby but he's away working in Argentina at the moment and I can't get him on the phone. Feeling sorry for myself and just worrying here. Anyone else find their cramps agony?
