I have no idea where to post this and Google isn't helping so here we go

I don't know if it's a family thing or how many people do it but there are two people in my family who make a certain noise over and over and it's really starting to annoy me. Like my mom will randomly make a loud kissing noise every minute or so when she isn't kissing anyone, and my sister will make some throaty noise constantly kind of like clearing your throat except it's not vocal and it's not clearing her throat. It's like they just feel the need to make a specific noise over and over and I don't understand it. Is this normal and is there a name for it???
