Does your manager do this?

So I came across several posts on here about terrible manager stories and I want your take on it based off personal experience. I was surprised to find out most managers don’t do this

I’ve been a manager for 3 years at a call center and I’m right there next to everyone else putting in those hours. I gather everyone minimum of once a week and we write down our goals/tasks for the week we hope to accomplish. Also reflect on the week prior and what we can change and all the accomplishments that were achieved. In the beginning of the year I gather everyone and have them make vision boards and come up with goals for their career. What do they want to work towards then I help them get there. Quarterly we reflect on how things went and what wed like to change and make little changes to goals as new interests can come up. During the Holidays I hand write cards for each employee and their families yes even if they only have fur babies too. To show my appreciation for them. Then couple days before thanksgiving I drive to everyones house and deliver a pie of their choice. I also make sure everyone completes a training course on customer service once a year and hold a motivational seminar twice a year. If someone is waiting to hear from me by a certain date or time, I will let them know with what I know then update later with final response or answer. let’s say someone is trying to get time off and I say by the end of the day tomorrow I should now. I’m still waiting for a response but tomorrow by the end of the day Is here, I will let that person know I’m still waiting for an update and when I finally do have the answer I need, I let them know.

I log in when everyone else logs in, I’m on the phone the same time my team is on the phone, and I help them meet the goals. If I’m not putting in the work either how will my team thrive?

Now reading some of the posts on here, I am shocked. Some of y’all managers really treat you like dirt or does nothing all day while earning a nice salary. Smh
