What’s in the back of my throat!?

I’ve been blood tested for herpes and I don’t have it (tested twice). Been with the same person since and each been tested. Nobody has cheated. What’s this? Has anyone had something similar? I’ve had mono in June- August (very severe and was hospitalized) and had a tonsillectomy as a result in September. I’m also a smoker...
