Asking for Vengeance?

Is it wrong to ask God to let someone think of you and the pain they caused? Someone hurt me really badly and they don't see anything wrong with their actions and instead got mad at me for cutting them off. In addition to the hurt and grief I feel over the friendship,  I'm also dealing with the pain of the person not caring about what they did and it is driving me crazy. I  have forgiven him and I wish him well in life but at the same time part of me wants him to think about how I feel. I know the Bible says that vengeance belongs to the Lord. Would asking him to make the person think of you equate to vengeance?
