Miscarriage ????

Question

All my tests were positive very dark lines , I’m 5 weeks had some bleeding yesterday it was a mix between brown and red blood but not heavy just there when I wipe  but it is dark red had no clots , had terrible back pains not much cramping not lost any clots . I can’t have a scan till I’m at least 6 weeks they said has anyone else had this and was fine ? I actually need some advice and what to expect and possibilities it could be  tia ladies xxxxx

I also spotted at 5 weeks. If it’s brown and red, you shouldn’t be too worried. I went in for blood work, numbers look fine, and an ultrasound, baby was fine. I was told that bleeding is normal, you shouldn’t worry until you have bright red, clotting blood. Hope that helps and good luck mama!

Hey, I had the same thing. When I went to the hospital they drew blood to make sure my hcg levels were still rising. Make sure that yours are if you’ve had a confirmed pregnancy test through blood. Second ultrasounds are harmless they do them to babies &!toddlers all the time, request one at an ER if your ObGyn won’t give you one. When I had both done both worked out fine. They did tell me that because I had previous bleeding though that I’m at a slightly smaller risk for miscarriage later. They also said that if I were to have a miscarriage it’s nothing that could be done to help, slow, or even stop it. However I went from 5 weeks with this exact same incident to 20 weeks and he’s healthy and kicking like crazy.
