Potty training? Help!

So my son is about to turn 3 February 20th and I’m trying to get him potty trained but don’t even know where to begin. He tells me when he’s pooped and peed in his pull up and I tell him you have to tell me before you use the potty in your pants and I’ve sat him on his toilet multiple times and he just pretends he’s potting and get happy lol he says “yay I potty” and I just tell him good job But what else should I do to get him on track with it?

If you’re fully committed then put him in underwear and watch him very very closely. When he starts to have an accident that’s when you rush to the bathroom and communicate so that he will associate the feeling with needing to go to the toilet. I talked with my daughter about no more diapers, used treats for the successes, lots of positive talk with reminders about putting our pee/poo in the toilet, and got a stool so she could get up and down herself once we got in the habit and I would stand back toward the door instead of hovering over her so she could take more control herself.

I just stared potty training my twin boys who will be 3 next week. 
I set a reminder for every 20 minutes and once my reminder goes off i bring them in the bathroom and have them sit on the potty. I have been giving them water and juice so their bladders fills up more and normally after 20 minutes they have enough pee so they end up using the potty. 
I reward them with M&M’s so it get them excited.
It’s only my second day potty training and one of my boys only had 2 accidents on the floor. So i think it’s going well.
