Is anyone else sad about not being able to go to prom right now? I know it’s stupid to be upset about it with all that’s going on in the world, but I was really looking forward to going. At my school, only Juniors and Seniors are allowed to attend, but if an underclassman gets asked to go with an upperclassman they can go as their plus 1. As an underclassman I felt left out when older guys asked my friends to go as their dates but I figured I could take myself as an upperclassman. Then last year when Covid hit my junior prom got canceled. I figured I might be able to go now as a senior back in may , but they just officially called it off again. Is anyone else in this situation? How are you dealing with it?
