Moving too fast?

Me and my bf have been dating for about a year in March. And tonight I just wanted to see where he saw this going. Like moving in together and just what he sees this ending up at. His answer was I don’t plan ahead whatever happens happens. When we cross that bridge we will talk about it. I feel offended because I feel like we just been doing bare minimum in our relationship. No I love yous. We both live with our parents. And obviously sex is hard to do since both families are LDS. But the answer of him not wanting to plan until we cross that just caught me off guard. Is that normal would you be offended or should I just let it go and just go on like we have been?
