Can anyone help me?

I'm an American living in the UK for 6 months with my husband (British). I have registered with a GP, they are telling me it will take two weeks to see me. I went to A&E, they brushed me off. The Sexual health clinics won't do blood tests. Idk where to turn.

If it’s a pregnancy, they don’t test it. You do your own pregnancy test at home, if that’s done and positive you have either two choices. Either you self refer to the hospital you want to give birth at and they will contact you via the midwife team or you contact the go and request an appointment with a doctor (2weeks is a fairly normal wait) if you ring up first thing might get one that day but chances are with covid atm they probably won’t see you and will tell you to self refer, 
Once midwives have been told about a pregnancy they will contact you to book you for an appointment around 8-10 weeks. You will receive a scan sate around 12 week (+\-) a few days. 
In uk it’s much more laid back, even atm most first midwife appointments are over the phone or Berry brief.

Yeah that's normal for booking an appointment. If you try phoning your gp first thing in the morning the might have an appointment available with a nurse available that day. What's the appointment for? It may be easier to give a better answer if we knew the issue you're having... X
