I posted about my puppy who might possibly have laryngeal paralysis because she has breathing issues and the vet who tried to spay her mentioned this might be the case . Well we had an appointment with a specialist to find out for sure and get her help . It was on the 19th of this month but they called and said they had a cancellation and we took that slot . That was supposed to be today . However they called us yesterday , a day before and cancelled our appointment because they Scheduled us with the wrong department even though we explained many times the reason we needed to be seen and to make sure that Diagnoses was correct as the vet wasn’t entirely sure as it could be other things also . They called me back today and only had an opening for the 21st now . I even explained that she was getting worse and she just always looks so sad and is struggling to breathe everyday . All they said was check her gums and take her to the er if needed . I understand they have other patients to see also but it’s just very frustrating , I was so happy they had something sooner and we could get the process going to getting her help . Now this poor puppy has to wait even longer . I cried when they called and canceled . She’s been acting weird lately and is starting to isolate herself more often . She will stay in my room in the dark rather then be out in the living room with me like she used too and she just lays there on the floor staring all bugged eyed . It’s so sad. I’m wondering if I should just take her to the Er but I’m worried they won’t be much help because we are almost 100 percent certain surgery is the only option to fix this . I guess I just needed to vent about this again . I’m sad and she looks sad and I hate it .
