Have you had a chemical pregnancy?

I just had my first chemical and I am heartbroken. How long is typical for grieving over a child when I have only known for a week? Also, my husband is already talking about trying again and I am not mentally or emotionally there yet. I would like to hear others experience and how soon they tried again.
I haven't actually received confirmation on the bloodwork, but I have felt the baby leave. The baby is gone and my pregnancy symptoms are gone.

Everyone is different and you have to work through it how you need to work through it. Mine happened on a Friday and I was ready to move on by Sunday. I was able to look at the situation with logic instead of emotion, which got me through the process much quicker. That’s me though.

About a year after my first was born I had two chemical pregnancies in a row, and then a true miscarriage. I can't really tell you how The Grieving will go for you. As other said everyone is different. For me it hit me kind of hard, then went away, and then a few weeks later suddenly hit me very hard again randomly one night.
After the miscarriage I waited through one full cycle to be sure everything was cleared out, and then I decided to start trying again right away. I had heard that you are more fertile after a miscarriage, I did get pregnant again right away and that baby is nearly too and very happy and healthy, although I'll admit that pregnancy was hard on me for the first trimester and a half because I was so afraid of losing him.
There really is no right or wrong way when it comes to what to do next. You have to think of what is best for you emotionally. For me getting pregnant again soon help me with the healing. At the same time I could see how that could have a negative effect on someone, especially when you go through a lot more worry about losing the next baby. Take your time, don't be hard on yourself, let yourself grieve fully.

A lot of people have chemical pregnancies and don’t even realize because they can behave just like a normal period so unless you are testing for pregnancy you wouldn’t know. So sorry you are going through this right now.

I had my first chemical at 17yrs old , I was young but the thought of me growing life with someone I love just broke me . I didn’t really get over it tbh seeing my friends over the years have Successful pregnancies made me hate my self ￼. Take the time you need to heal its the best thing you can do before trying again , iam so sorry for your loss 😞❤️
