Helpful fact: good to know for TTC
I recently found out that the number of days between ovulation and getting your period doesn't change (unless of course you get pregnant). I tracked it and checked my history and found it to be true for myself, even though my cycle length varies. So if you have an irregular cycle it's the first half leading up to ovulation that can be longer or shorter, but Ov day to CD1 will always be the same number of days. Is this common knowledge? I'm in my 30s and only discovered this last year. It is really helpful to know when TTC so that you're not guessing whether you're late or not. Eg my period always comes 11 days after I ovulate and if it doesn't, I know I must be pregnant. It's like clockwork even though sometimes my entire cycle varies between 30-35 days. Hope this saves someone from undue stress when TTC.
