It only rear face till 40lbs - so not long enough for most kids.

Look at @safeintheseat Instagram page. She shows you why a infant car seat is the safest seat for newborns. Most convertible car seats harness to bottom length aren’t short enough for a newborn. The harness straps should be at or below the shoulders on a rear facing car seat

This looks really similar to the one I got...Evenflo Everyfit 4 in 1 convertible car seat. Sold at Target and Buy Buy Baby. I'm sure other places as well.
