Feeding leads to vomiting

A week shy of 7 months, baby is still having trouble with eating. We did a combo of BLW and purees so far. He had no issue with purees and cereals. We have tried several textures for him to eat but he vomits every single time. We keep attempting every day but I'm not sure if I'm doing this right. I've looked on IG for feeding guides and follow their schedules. Just looking for some pointers or anyone with similar issues?
