Help us stay optimistic!
Hey everyone!
I’m in a bit of a rut at the moment. I’m from the UK and, as I’m sure most of you know, we’re in our third lockdown. The government has said that lockdown restrictions could end mid Feb, but some are predicting no let up till Easter.
I just about got through the first lockdown, and by the end I’d ran out of steam with it. Not seeing my friends and family was more exhausting than seeing lots of people every single day! So now that we’re looking at a whole month of lockdown with the likelihood of a strict tier system afterwards, I am feeling down, fed-up, miserable etc. I feel like it’s never-ending and I miss my friends.
With that being said, I want to try and change my attitude. Instead of moaning about what I can’t change, I want to focus on what I can change in my daily routine that will help me be more positive and optimistic. I thought it’d be fun to get a thread going where you guys can share what things you do to improve your mood, how you manage your routine in these weird times, and advice for how to stay positive! Maybe other people who feel the same way might read your ideas and start something new to help them too!
