Time for a toddler bed?

When do you mommas think is a good time to switch your LO from a crib to a toddler bed?

We did when she turned 1! She kept getting her legs stuck between the crib rails really badly... honestly went a tbh thousand times better then I thought she loves her big girl bed

We will be trying her in a single bed when she turns 18 months in a couple of weeks as baby no. 2 is due 4th April! It has rails around the sides to prevent her falling out

I'm planning to start the switch around 2 since I'm due with my second around that time. Although the new baby won't be in the crib right away I want some transition time just incase it doesn't go well at first lol
