Egg donor + Sperm donor

Morning ladies,

Looking for thoughts or input from women going through the same (or similar) situation.

DH and I have been TTC for 5 years. After extensive testing, we found out we are unable to harvest any sperm and our only option is a sperm donor. I am 30 years old with diminished ovarian reserve with AMH less than 4, and FSH 19. Even though my egg quality should be good, we have been given low chances of retrieving eggs or enough to do

We are considering

with a sperm donor with my eggs, but chances are low and DH (for emotional reasons) has said if we do this, we will only have one child through sperm donorship and thats it. Option 2 is Egg Donor + Donor Sperm, which increases our chances to 60-75% and would allow us to have multiple, genetically related kids/siblings. Weve always wanted a big family, so this is very important.

The big issue here is that if we go with Option 2, we would not even try my eggs and would move to egg donorship without ever knowing if we can conceive using my eggs. My hubby prefers option two because we have a fair, equal biological relation to the child and doesnt create any resentment, we can also have more children this way.

I am open to both but I am struggling giving up my biology, without even trying my eggs first. However, i feel Option 2 is better for us emotionally, and in the long term to achieve our goals. My husband and I will love the crap out of our kids, no matter what, but Im wondering:

- have any of you done Egg Donor, without trying

first? If yes, how did you feel and feel now?

- for anyone who has done Egg Donor, how did you decide it was time to move on from your own eggs and do donorship?

- anyone done Sperm donor + Egg Donor? How did it go?
