Changed mind about baby no 2

Has anyone seperated because one of you wants more kids and the other one doesn't? We have one child, always said we'd have two. SO now doesn't want anymore children. He is sure he doesn't want anymore, I am sure I do. I love him and respect his decision but I don't have many years left to conceive and am worried I will regret never having another child/resent him for it in years to come...
