Two weeks after ectopic pregnancy/surgery...

Two weeks ago I went into the ER- I had some pain but not too bad but it was more localized toward one side. I called the dr he said go in get an ultrasound. Long story short- I ended up having an ectopic pregnancy and my tube had burst so I went in for surgery. Once out of surgery I had no vaginal bleeding. Now two weeks later I’ve had some on and off cramping and light bleeding. Everything I read says I’ll have a period 4-6 weeks AFTER the procedure, I’m only two weeks post. Has anyone experienced this?

I called my dr and he said it’s normal- my HCG levels might’ve just gone back to 0 but it still worries me since I never experienced bad pain and I was bleeding internally with a tube burst.
