Sleeping on your chest ok or naw?

My daughter is 3weeks 2 days old, she’s my 1st baby. she has her bassinet but sometimes I let her sleep on my chest. She sleeps 6+ hours on my chest vs 3-4 on her bassinet. my husband doesn’t approve but he also cannot help since he has a broken leg since (5weeks) I’m the one doing all the work here and I find it so much easier to just let her sleep on me.

I personally feel it's okay. My daughter turned a month old today and all I do is press one side of me up against the wall and a pillow on the other so that I almost feel like k am in a box. Either that or I lay with my back against the wall and put my knee by her and my arm under the pillow

^yes. Unfortunately there has been cases of babies passing away from parents letting their little one sleep on their chest while they are asleep too.
