40+ & Pregnant With Donor Sperm

Urbandiva • Lesbian Couple got a BFP at 41 yrs young but unfortunately it ended in miscarriage. So we are setting up to try again💚💚💚💯! Sending good vibes and baby dust to all!! ✨✨✨✨

My wife and I have been TTC for almost a year to the day we found out she was pregnant. It has been an unforgettable journey. In January of 2020 we had all the test and examinations suggested by our fertility specialist. We decided we would try at home 1st before moving along to IUI or IVF.

Ladies, if you are TTC please track your cycle closely. That was pertinent in our success. We used pregmate ovulation strips and tested 2 even 3 times a day to find the exact time of her positive reading. The other pertinent thing was timing! Most ladies use the 12 & 24 method with donor sperm but for months that failed both of us. After a little research I found many many ladies who got BFP’s from a different timing. Being this was our last time before going to IUI, we inseminated with 3 vials (normally 2) & tried something different and it worked!

Using 3 vials of donor sperm we did 26 hours, then at 32 & again at 46 hours or 26 after 1st positive, then again 6 hours later and then again 14 hours later. My wife’s ovulation surge last around 46-52 hours.

We are both 41 yrs young & this will be our 1st child! We are elated! Keep the faith ladies, track your ovulation like a hawk and use a timing that works for your body because the standard 12-24 does not work for everyone (whether your going for the goal naturally or artificially).

Sprinkling Baby Dust in all directions and send good vibes to all you ladies!!! ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
